Workshops for pupils in primary school about media literacy

Workshops for pupils called “Media Literacy”, within the UNESCO Week of Media Literacy, were held this week in the elementary school “King Alexander I” in Belgrade.

The organizer is the Ministry of Culture and Information, which will continue to organize workshops in the coming period. This will help children and young people, through the process of active participation and exchange of experiences with lecturers, to better understand the content of media messages and the processes of their creation on different platforms.

The workshops were held by Maja Zarić, head of the group for international cooperation in the Information and Media Sector in the Ministry of Culture and Information and Saša Mirković, media literacy expert within the ICE project “Support to Media Reforms in the Republic of Serbia”, which is supported by the European Union.
